Austin Lightning Carrothers moved to NYC from the Hudson Valley in 2023 after spending a decade developing a love for telling stories on stage and in film. After completing AADA’s Company Program led by Barbara Rubin, Austin immediately had the pleasure of performing Lungs at the Romanian Cultural Institute directed by Luana Maria Seu. After this, Austin joined Actors’ Equity Association and has been auditioning consistently. Austin had the pleasure of directing his first play “The Beige Walls of NYC” by Krista Maria Piccotti at the Players Theater on MacDougal Street. Austin is now working on a few short films, and continues to work on his craft in Karl Bury’s scene study class.
